During the production process at ZHONGTIAN Steel Plant, high-temperature molten metal, large quantities of flammable materials, and complex electrical equipment coexist. Even a minor oversight could lead to a serious fire accident. To effectively address these potential hazards, ZHONGTIAN Steel Plant has introduced Junxunpu fire monitors.

A total of 16 Junxunpu fire monitors were installed in the plant this time, each with a protection radius of 60 meters and a rated pressure of 1.0 MPa. They feature two operation modes: remote control and on-site control panel. Remote control operation allows workers to respond quickly to fires from safe areas far from the danger zone, avoiding injuries that could result from proximity to the fire source.

Additionally, each fire monitor is equipped with a 2-megapixel high-definition camera. This camera enables real-time remote monitoring of the on-site situation. Once abnormalities such as smoke or open flames are detected, monitoring personnel can quickly remotely adjust the fire monitor to align with the fire location, activate the fire pump, open the electric valve, and initiate immediate water spraying to extinguish the fire. Through this series of efficient coordinated operations, Junxunpu fire monitors have established a comprehensive and intelligent fire safety protection system for ZHONGTIAN Steel Plant, significantly enhancing the plant’s ability to withstand fire risks.
